Language Teachers’ Identities

A core element of the research carried out under the Diasporic Identities strand has studied the personal and professional identities of language teachers in the diaspora. Through this research, we have sought to understand how teachers see themselves in their role as mediators between languages and cultures and how they perform this role in their teaching practice.
