DynamicsLangSoc FINAL

This conference, organized by Anna Johnston and Christopher Da Silva in the School of Modern Languages and Cultures at Durham University, is for all undergraduate, taught postgraduate and PhD students at Durham with at least an A2 level (CEFR) in a foreign language. Led by and for students with Anna and Christopher acting as facilitators, it will explore the connections between language, identity and transitions. Featuring a keynote from Dr Aziza Zaher, it will encourage students to collaborate across disciplines, by exploring the role played by languages in relation to and across the disciplines. Students will explore how languages develop and evolve in different contexts.

This conference is supported by the Language Acts and Worldmaking Small Grants scheme.
